As you are aware, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been playing a pioneering role in facilitating accelerated development of Infrastructure in India. Towards this, one of the key initiatives of CII is EXCON – Global Exhibition and Conferences on Construction Equipment & Technology. Large Industry Conferences addressing Infrastructure, Defence, MSME, Components, Green Buildings, Smart Cities, Urban Development, Logistics, Women in Infra, Equal opportunity Awards, etc are organised concurrently as part of EXCON.
EXCON, presently in its 11th edition is scheduled to be held between 17 - 21 May 2022 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru.
It is South Asia’s largest event for this sector.

It is the endeavour of the Construction Equipment Industry to engage with students to create awareness amongst them on the opportunities in this sector and career progression possibilities.
Encouraging Faculty & Students of your institution to visit Excon and gain significant value by observing industry trends, exploring career options and understanding skilling for the future.
We would like to hear from your students on their solutions to 2 of the key problems faced by the Construction Equipment Industry – Alternate Fuel and Alternate Materials. A brief concept note of the challenges under these topics have been attached along. We would like to hear back from your students on their inputs and suggestions to these problems in around 2000 words or less.
All the shortlisted papers will be given a certificate & The Runners will be given gift hampers with branded merchandise.
3 of the best entry’s, as judged by the steering committee, will be provided an opportunity to travel from their city to Bengaluru and back, with economy class airfare, stay and local transportation paid for by CII. They will also get an opportunity to meet with 3-5 select CEO’s during EXCON to discuss on their solutions. An internship with one of the companies associated with the steering committee of EXCON will also be considered.
