CONFERENCE ON COMPONENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENTS

Theme: Smart Technologies for Smart Equipments
0930-1400 hrs; 14th December 2017; BIEC, Bangalore

India is one of the fastest growing markets for construction and earthmoving equipment globally and has emerged as a major base for manufacturing equipment and components. Investment in infrastructure is the main growth driver of the construction equipment industry. Estimates indicate the total infrastructure spending for the current Five Year Plan has increased to 9 per cent compared to the last plan. The Infrastructure Sector has seen a steady growth over the past 2 years and the construction equipment industry in India is expected to reach an estimated 5 billion USD by FY20.

Digitization, robotics, new lighter and stronger materials, the urgency of environmental regulations has ushered in an era of rapidly evolving and new exciting technology for the construction equipment industry. Increasingly construction is becoming more oriented toward mechanisation to reduce project time and control costs – leading to higher demand for advanced construction equipment.

Construction equipment forms 7% - 8% of India’s GDP and expected to give employment to more than 3.0 million people in the country by 2020. Additionally, it accounts for over 60 per cent of total infrastructural investment, making it the highest value adding asset.

To fuel this growth story of India, with all indicators towards infrastructure being a key contributor, empowerment of the sector would expand the growth trajectory. The Government of India’s focus on infrastructure development is the biggest impetus, therefore putting into place multiple policies and ‘Make in India’ boosts to ensure the same.

From this perspective, CII Southern Region is organising National level Conference on Components - Smart Technologies for Smart Equipments at Excon 2017 on the 14th December 2017 in Bangalore. The conference will encompass the following sessions / Technical Presentations

  • * Big Picture Construction Equipment’s, Components and the Way Forward
  • * Looking into the Future : Autonomous machines, Machine intelligence, Connectivity and more
  • * Towards more efficient mobile Hydraulic Systems: A deep dive into efficiency of hydraulics
  • * System Design for Energy Efficiency

I also take immense pleasure in inviting potential partners to associate in this conference as a Sponsor. The sponsorship options and the detailed benefits are enclosed for your reference. Your support & sponsorship will be suitably acknowledged at the conference venue.
